Government Performance:
Bills passed in the 2005 legislative session, proclamations from Governor Gregoire and Governor Locke, and Initiative 900 (passed in November of 2005) all serve to increase the focus on government priorities and performance.
Part of the role of LEAP is to provide fiscal oversight. Although LEAP does not evaluate performance measures or conduct performance audits, LEAP is committed to enhancing the visibility of government performance.
