LEAP provides database administration as well as research, data analysis, and reporting support for the fiscal staffs of the Washington State Legislature. Since the mid-1970s, LEAP has provided this support in the area of K-12 school district budget and finance. Based on data from OSPI School Apportionment and Financial Services, the following four reports provide school district-specific detail for selected enrollment, staffing, revenue, and expenditure categories.

Workload, Staffing, and Finance:  PDF | Excel | Interactive
Displays total FTE enrollment, special education percentage, FTE staff, revenue and expenditure data.

Activity Grouping:  PDF | Excel | Interactive
Displays K-12 General Fund Expenditures per FTE enrollment by activity groups for a specific district, for all of the districts of the same enrollment size as that district, and for the state as a whole.

Object:  PDF | Excel | Interactive
Displays K-12 General Fund Expenditures per FTE enrollment by objects of expenditure for a specific district, for all of the districts of the same enrollment size as that district, and for the state as a whole.
